"so that parenting needn't end when a partnership does"
Our story, mission, and commitment to supporting families
"To provide a safe, neutral, and child-centered environment where children of separated families can maintain meaningful relationships with both parents and extended family members."
Everything we do is guided by these fundamental principles
The wellbeing and best interests of children are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every child has the right to maintain relationships with both parents when it is safe to do so.
We maintain complete independence from all parties involved. We are not affiliated with courts, social services, or any legal representatives.
We treat all family members with equal respect and fairness. We do not take sides or make judgments about family circumstances.
We respect the privacy of all families who use our service. Information shared with us remains confidential unless there are safeguarding concerns.
Our centre offers a comfortable, safe space where children can spend quality time with the parent they don't live with. The environment is designed to feel welcoming and relaxed, with toys, games, and books to help children feel at ease.
Our trained volunteers help ensure visits run smoothly and that children can enjoy their time with their parent without tension or conflict. We provide a neutral presence that helps everyone feel more comfortable.
We believe in the importance of children maintaining relationships with both parents and, where appropriate, with extended family members such as grandparents, aunts, uncles, and siblings.
All our volunteers undergo thorough Access NI background checks and receive comprehensive child protection training. We follow strict safeguarding protocols to ensure everyone's safety.
Dedicated volunteers committed to supporting families
Our coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of the centre, manages referrals, and ensures that all families receive the support they need. The coordinator is your first point of contact and is available to answer questions and provide guidance throughout the process.
Our volunteers are the backbone of our service. They come from diverse backgrounds but share a common commitment to helping families. All volunteers:
